A Refúgio Brasil é uma organização não governamental (ONG), privada e sem fins lucrativos. Sem qualquer tipo de envolvimento político ou religioso, respeita as diferenças e está aberta a qualquer às pessoa independente do seu credo, cor, raça ou classe social. Atua especificamente com refugiados no Brasil e alguns outros países.
O QUE É UM REFUGIADO ?
Para nós, qualquer pessoa que por perigo de morte se viu obrigada a fugir do seu país de origem, seja por guerra, catástrofes e perseguição política ou religiosa.

OUR STORY
Refúgio Brasil began its activities informally in 2007, when Faysa Daoud (Arab of Palestinian origin/born in Jordan) identified the arrival of Palestinian refugees from the city of Mogi das Cruzes and region. Soon he began to mobilize friends and society in general to help and provide social assistance in various areas to these refugees.
In 2016 (almost 10 years later), seeking to advance the projects, the organization is formalized with a. registration with the CNPJ. Some actions start to be boosted, donations start to arrive on a larger scale and more people get involved with the now official project
In 2019, Everton Lopes joined the organization, (which since 2001 has been working in humanitarian aid throughout Brazil and more than 40 countries around the world). The same assumes as Executive Director , the official office is opened, a hired team starts working at the NGO, finally, a structuring phase of the NGO Refúgio Brasil begins
Since then, we have based our actions on 3 areas of activity:
1. Relief - all support in health, documents, food and housing for refugees.
2. Integration - Portuguese language courses and professional training for refugees.
3. Consolidation - generation of jobs for the emancipation of refugees.
In 2021 we started the Ajudadores movement, through the partnership with Instituto ELopes we expanded our actions beyond refugees, but we face the challenge of uniting people and social projects, providing emotional care and strategic training for their advancement
So we created the biggest movement in Brazil of people who have solidarity as a lifestyle, and with the movement comes the Tribo dos Ajudadores, the largest online platform for the care and training of helpers.
OUR ADVANCE
Em 2019 é oficializada a entrada de Everton Lopes na organização, (que desde 2001 atua em ajuda humanitária, em todo Brasil e mais de 40 países ao redor do mundo). O mesmo assume o posto de Diretor Executivo, o escritório oficial é inaugurado, uma equipe contratada e treinada, enfim, inicia-se uma fase de estruturação da Ong Refúgio Brasil
A partir de então fundamentamos nossas ações em 3 área de atuação:
1. Socorro - todo suporte na saúde, documentos, alimentação e moradia aos refugiados.
2. Consolidação - geração de empregos para a emancipação dos refugiados.
